In June The Future of Freedom Foundation hosted one of the most important and exciting conferences in libertarian history, “Restoring the Republic: Foreign Policy and Civil Liberties.” The conference produced what is arguably the greatest and most captivating collection of speeches on the libertarian principles of foreign policy and civil liberties ever presented.

Will you help us create a special educational website that will ensure a permanent legacy that everyone in the world can easily access on the Internet? The website will feature an overview of the conference, each speaker’s photograph and bio, written transcripts of the speeches, and easily accessible links to each video and transcript. Each website visitor will experience what conference attendees experienced, watching these exciting and compelling talks by 24 libertarian, liberal, and conservative speakers, all of whom are concerned about getting our nation back on the right track. Best of all, from an educational standpoint, this information will be free to every website visitor.

The first two speeches posted on YouTube.com — by Ron Paul and Andrew Napolitano — have received more than 25,000 viewings! Adding to the excitement, Ron Paul’s presidential race, as you no doubt know, has now elevated the discussion of libertarian principles to the national political level.

With your help, we also plan to purchase advertising on libertarian, conservative, and liberal websites, with the aim of bringing our Internet classroom to the attention of as many people as possible, enabling them to “attend” the conference on the Internet.

We need your help to keep this momentum going. For 18 years, The Future of Freedom Foundation has taken a leading role in advancing libertarian principles on foreign policy and in defending our civil liberties. Now we want to do more, and our recent conference, combined with the power of the Internet, will enable us to do that. Our Internet classroom will help us share the pro-freedom case on foreign policy and civil liberties with people all over the country. We need your financial support to make this project a reality.
