Conference Testimonials
See what attendess had to say about the conference in June 2007:
Great Conference! I wish I could have gone to more but it was great meeting so many folks whom I enjoy reading so much. Congratulations! - J.M.
I think the conference was a tremendous success. You are to be congratulated for putting it together. I know I learned a lot and am sure others did as well. - D.G.
Please allow me to thank you once again for putting together what I consider to be one of the finest conferences ever. The quality of the speakers was tremendous; even better than I expected, but the passion, diversity and intelligence of the attendees was also impressive to say the least. This conference not only helped me to gain more knowledge, but left me with even more desire to educate myself further, so as to be able to change the minds of others. I came away refreshed and desirous of more. To spend that many days listening to so many speakers, and to then come away even more vitalized, is a tribute to you and to The Future of Freedom Foundation. Also, thanks again to your wonderful staff; all were exceptional! - G.B.
I want to tell you how much I enjoyed your conference in Reston. I think
the most important thing I learned was that Libertarians are not only
thinking about the next election, but they are thinking about how we can
preserve our freedoms for our children and grandchildren. That is important
to me.
I believe that the words of the 24 speakers you had will be used as teaching tools for a long time, and that their message
will be heard by thousands. Iím sure they have already reached many through the internet. My children will hear their words when they listen to the CDs and Videos I ordered. - J.G.
This conference was the best I've ever attended in my 15 years as a libertarian. - H.M.
Ultimately, I think the people you lined up for the Foreign Policy and Civil Liberties Conference need to be heard as widely as possible. - K.B.
Thank you for a great conference. Your help at the conference, I believe Ms. Cannon is one of the ladies, were so nice to me. Anyway, thank you for your leadership at FFF. Have a wonderful June, and God Bless. - L.P.
Just wanted to take a minute to commend the entire FFF staff for all of your efforts. The conference was absolutely unforgettable, and my girlfriend and I didn't want it to end. You somehow assembled an all-star roster of speakers who exceeded even my lofty expectations. And just when we thought we'd heard the most electric speech of the weekend, along came the next speaker ... and then the next ... and then ... well, you get the idea. Everyone at FFF made us feel welcome and comfortable, and we couldn't have been happier with the weekend's events. You should be very proud. Again, many thanks for such a spectacular weekend. I look forward with great anticipation to the next FFF event. - S.S.
The FFF Conference was wonderful. So many political thinkers. Of all, I especially liked Ellsberg, Higgs and Marguiles. You are to be congratulated for your role in making it possible. Again, you did a splendid job in bringing the conference together. - B.B.
I wanted to express our appreciation for the hard work the Foundation did in putting together last weekend's freedom fest. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Hard to come back to "reality" after it was all over. Looking forward to next year's festivities! Congratulations on this labor of love - flawlessly executed! - T & G
Thanks so much putting on the Restoring the Republic conference. It was great! All the speakers were excellent, as were the food and lodging. My husband, my daughter and I attended. My daughter and I have been libertarians for some time so we gained more ammunition with which to persuade others to our cause. But, the most astonishing result for me was the conversion of my husband, the ardent Bush supporter. He turned to me after the conference and said "You were right". You can imagine how strained political discussions had been prior to the conference and I am so grateful that you and your organization have supplied my family with this valuable resource. Now, I have my son, who is 17, to work on. But, when we returned from the conference, he announced that he had started reading The Fountainhead, so more miracles are in sight. Thanks for this conference and all your other efforts in spreading the word for uncompromising liberty. - B.J.
Thank you all very much for putting on a fantastic conference. Your work will make waves throughout the country and the world. It was also very nice to meet you all. I hope to see you soon at future conferences. - M.B.
Great conference, many thanks! - J.M.
I never thought I'd be grateful for my disrupted sleep pattern quite as much as I am tonight. I was awake at 3am, flipping through the channels and stopped on C-Span's broadcast of your Karen Kwiatkowlski's speech at your conference over the weekend. I was stopped in my tracks. I listen to a lot of people saying similar things, but to have someone from her background say it and have it broadcast has given me some hope. What power and eloquence. - N.H.
I have to thank your organization and Karen Kwiatkowski. As a recent college grad, I have been thirsting for the inspiration and insight provided by Mrs. Kwiatkowski's oration at the June 2007 conference since the day of my release from the bondages of a modern liberal education. I want to pass along a message of hope to her and her like-minded colleagues. Your cause is not lost among those of my generation. We are keenly aware of the injustices perpetrated in the name of our government and I, as well as many of my peers, are prepared to fight with you. We know that in order to survive, the American public must transcend the simple minded and misdirected dichotomoy propogated by modern politicians. It will happen. - L.H.
I just wanted to send you a little note to thank you for such a wonderful and inspiring conference. All of you worked so very hard--thank you so much for all your efforts. I feel so inspired, rejuvenated, and charged up from the conference that I'll singlehandedly take on any statist who dares cross my path! M.K.
I just wanted to thank you for putting on such a great conference this past weekend. It was my first venture in attending such an event since becoming a subscriber to your fine monthly magazine and email newsletter. I found it stimulating, educational and inspiring. Such a conference has given me much hope for our countries future because of leadership such as yours and the outstanding speakers you invited. I also made friends with several attendees who I hope to maintain a relationship with and share some thoughts along the way. Best of luck and you can count on my support. - G.H.
I'm still in the process of digesting the wonderful conference. My congrats to all of you for a great job. - B.S.
Thanks much for the invite and the good time. The food was good, I gained weight, and the speakers were better. And in Anthony Gregory, a star was born! - B.A.
Great conference! And your closing speech was one of the best I've ever heard--even by you! - S.B.
I want you and your staff to know that the recent conference I attended in Reston is the best conference I have ever been too. Not only was the content excellent, but also the event was run and managed much better than any I have seen. I know it was a lot of work. Consider doing it again. Also, by hearing the speakers, I have become inspired to take up the pen again.
- D.W.
Thank you for putting the conference together! It was by far the best event of its kind I've ever attended. - K.P.
I had a fantastic time at the conference! A. and I loved talking with each of you. I have never learned so much in one weekend. Plus, I have a hundred more things to look up from what I heard. I cannot thank you enough for putting it all together. -J.H.
