Speaker Spotlight: Sheldon Richman and Bart Frazier

14 days from today! Our conference “Restoring the Republic: Foreign Policy and Civil Liberties” kicks off! It’s still not too late to register. This week’s speaker spotlight is on Sheldon Richman and Bart Frazier, who are not only among the finest personal friends I have ever had but also two people whose importance to FFF could never be overstated. I am most grateful on both counts.
Sheldon has been writing for FFF since 1991. He ranks among the country’s most knowledgeable, competent, and principled advocates of libertarian philosophy. Having the rare ability to address both academic audiences and lay audiences, Sheldon’s commentaries are always clear, succinct, and easy to read and understand. A former senior editor at the Cato Institute, for the past 10 years Sheldon has served as editor of The Freeman, which he has made into one of the leading journals for liberty. Over the years, he has also become one of the best public speakers for libertarianism.
Bart arrived at FFF more than five years ago as an intern from George Mason University’s economics department, and we quickly recognized his deep, passionate commitment to libertarianism as well as his knowledge and understanding of the Internet. Bart’s coming on board as a full-time employee enabled us to more effectively spread our message on the Internet, especially through our op-eds, our journal Freedom Daily, and our FFF Email Update, which Bart puts together every morning.
